Bookstorez

Website terms

Last updated 5 October 2026

These cover using Bookstorez: browsing the catalogue, buying a download, and selling your own products here, including plans, fees and how you get paid.

Who runs the site

Bookstorez is run by Harber Glaves Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17162810, registered office SIU Offices, 4-6 Greatorex Street, London E1 5NF, United Kingdom. Write to us at hello@bookstorez.io.

What this site is

Bookstorez is a marketplace for digital products. Sellers open an account, list their own work and publish it to the catalogue; anyone can browse it, and buyers in the countries where checkout is open can buy it. Harber Glaves Limited sells every product on this site.

The sell page sums up the terms we sell on: the fee, the payout rule, the notice period and the support promise. The sections below are the full version, and the 90-day written notice rule in them applies to fees and payout terms.

Buying on Bookstorez

When you buy, you buy from Harber Glaves Limited, which sells each product on behalf of the creator who made it. Sellers set prices in US dollars; you see and pay them in your local currency. In the UK, the EU, Australia and New Zealand any tax is included in the price shown. In the US and Canada tax is added at checkout where it applies.

You get a personal licence to download and use the files for yourself. You may not resell, share or publish them.

A seller may give you a discount code. Enter it on the product page and the price you see, and pay, is the lower one. A refund is of what you paid.

Refunds and your right to cancel

Downloads are delivered straight away. At checkout you confirm: 'I want the download now and understand I lose my 14-day right to cancel.' After that, UK and EU law gives no right to cancel a download.

We refund a purchase if the file is faulty or not as described. Ask within 14 days at hello@bookstorez.io.

Selling on Bookstorez

  • Signing up is free.
  • Fees per sale, with card fees, tax and payouts included: Free 12% + 30¢; Creator 9% + 30¢; Pro 8% + 30¢. The fee is worked out on the price before tax.
  • Fees and payout terms change only with 90 days' notice, given to you in writing.
  • You must own or have the rights to everything you sell.
  • A product's web address must not pass off as another person, shop or brand. We may reset an address that does, and the product then returns to its automatic address.

You can make discount codes for your own products. You fund the discount: our fee is worked out on the discounted price, which is never under $1. How many codes can run at once depends on your plan.

Plans

Creator costs $19 a month or $190 a year, and Pro $29 a month or $290 a year. Where we list a price in your local currency, you are charged that instead.

Plans renew automatically until you cancel.

Plan prices may change. We tell you in writing first, and a new price applies from your next billing period after that, never part-way through one you've paid for.

An upgrade starts straight away, and the prorated difference is charged when you upgrade: the new plan for the rest of the current period, less what is left of the plan you had.

A downgrade or cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. Until then you keep your plan.

If you will then have more live products than the new plan allows, or a free product the new plan does not include, we warn you 7 days before. If you don't choose which stay live, your best sellers stay and the rest come off sale: they are hidden from the catalogue, never deleted, and you can put them back on sale when you have room.

Free products are part of the Creator and Pro plans. On the Free plan every product on sale is $3.00 or more; if you move to the Free plan, a free product comes off sale until you set a price or return to a paid plan.

Getting paid

  • Your share of a sale clears 30 days after the sale during your first 90 days of selling, and 7 days after that.
  • We pay cleared earnings monthly, on the 15th, once they reach $50. Smaller balances carry over and never expire; if you close your account we pay any amount.
  • You choose a bank account through Stripe (US, UK, Canada, Ireland) or PayPal (every country we support, and the only option outside those four). We ask for your identity and tax details once, when you first set this up.
  • We cover the cost of sending the payout.

Refunds, chargebacks and fraud

  • If a sale is refunded or reversed by the buyer's bank, your share of it comes off your earnings, including after it has been paid out; your balance can go below zero.
  • If we lose a chargeback, a $15 fee comes off your earnings.
  • If more than 1% of your sales have an open or lost chargeback (and there have been at least five), or we see signs of fraud, we may pause your payouts while we review.
